As we age, our faces lose volume, allowing fine lines, wrinkles and hollow areas to become more apparent. Though this is a natural part of the aging process although it doesn’t have to happen before you’re ready. Injectable fillers can be used to rejuvenate and freshen up an aging face. You can get the results you want in a single office visit. What’s more, we’re often able to obtain the same lifted and youthful results of a facelift without the cost, anesthesia, and recovery period associated with a more invasive procedure.

Fillers work by increasing volume, filling in lines, providing structural support and stimulating collagen production. Each injectable has different properties and works to achieve specific goals in certain anatomical areas.

During your initial consultation, you will be advised on which product or combination of these products will produce the natural look you desire.

Juvederm is an injectable hyaluronic acid that is made out of a molecule naturally found in our skin and highly compatible so there is little to no reaction. This line of product can be injected almost anywhere to add volume or shape. It is often used to treat lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth.

Throughout the natural aging process, our facial skin loses its ability to restore its own hyaluronic acid – a key component that maintains moisture in our cells and contributes to the appearance of a supple and youthful complexion. Juvederm continuously draws moisture to the skin, improving the look of any creases and creating a smooth and youthful facial appearance for up to one year.

Restylane is an injectable dermal filler designed to temporarily diminish fine lines around the mouth and nose. It can be used to correct nasolabial folds, marionette lines, sagging jowls, a recessive chin, and create fuller lips. Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler for patients who want instantaneous, long-lasting, natural enhancement that’s also gentle and safe.

As we age, our skin begins to lose naturally occurring components that keep it young and wrinkle-free, including hyaluronic acid. This loss causes the skin to develop permanent lines and wrinkles. With an active ingredient of hyaluronic acid, Restylane temporarily replenishes the skin’s lost supply, causing the tissue beneath the surface to swell. In this way, the injectable smooths out fine lines and wrinkles, restores lost volume and delivers a rejuvenated overall appearance.

Belotero is perfect for fine lines around the lips and nasolabial folds (the lines and wrinkles that run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth). This filler is designed to evenly smooth and fill in fine-to-moderate wrinkles, achieving a smooth and natural appearance that ensures you look as young and vibrant as you feel.

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid injectable filler designed to integrate into facial skin tissue. The unique manufacturing process yields a soft and cohesive gel that, once injected, instantly fills the skin to help smooth mild to moderate etched-in lines and wrinkles. It is the ideal option for treating delicate areas such as etched-in smile lines and vertical lip lines (thin lines that appear above and around the lips) leaving the skin appearing very natural and refreshed.

Radiesse is a calcium hydroxyapatite filler. This formula works also with stimulate collagen production and has maximum lifting capacity when injected deep on to the bone. Radiesse is a great option for midface volume and jawline structuring. Also, due to its large molecular size, it is also a longer lasting filler.

Radiesse stimulates the production of your own natural collagen with results that last up to a year or more. Healthy young skin contains collagen that gives it volume, flexibility, and strength. As we age, our natural collagen breaks down, which causes diminished facial volume and elasticity and resulting in skin laxity.

During your initial consultation, there is a careful evaluation of your facial anatomy and signs of aging as a whole. Then we compose a custom treatment plan designed to use the filler (sometimes in combination with other fillers or with Botox) to treat fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and nose as subtly as possible.

During the actual injections, the filler is administered with a very small needle directly into the problem areas, such as your smile lines, RBF, vertical lip lines, chin wrinkles, and marionette lines.  Also, because most fillers are formulated with a built-in anesthetic, the entire procedure is very tolerable.
