What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment slot is long (typically 20-45 minutes depending on appointment type). Although we may not use the entire time slot for your appointment, this time is reserved for you and no one else. Please cancel your appointment online or by phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you need to cancel. This will allow time for the slot to be filled by another patient. If you do not notify us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a $50 cancellation/no show fee.

If you do not come to your appointment without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be required to provide a credit card number in order to schedule another appointment. On the second missed visit or less than 24-hour cancellation, the missed appointment fee will be collected.

Can I schedule online?

Yes, you can schedule here.

How do I know you are a good fit for me?

We offer a free 10-minute phone consultation if you would like to learn more about what we do and how this may benefit you.  Please contact us to schedule.

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a unique and complete branch of medicine that combines traditional wisdom with modern science to achieve the most comprehensive path to wellness for each individual.  Dr. Schulz often uses a blend of therapies including lifestyle modifications, botanical medicine, nutritional counseling, pharmaceuticals, injection therapies, and physical medicine.

Training and Licensure

Licensed naturopathic doctors (ND) are required to attain an undergraduate degree which includes pre-med courses after which, they attend a four-year accredited naturopathic medical school.  Naturopathic physicians are educated in all of the same basic medical sciences as a medical doctor and have equivalent class training in pharmacology.  However, their curriculum also includes holistic therapies and training that places a strong emphasis on disease prevention. In addition to a standard medical curriculum, ND’s are required to complete additional training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, physical medicine, and counseling.

Naturopathic physicians take rigorous professional board exams so that they may be licensed by a state or jurisdiction as a primary care physician.
